Queensland’s Strategic Asset Management Plan Framework

The Queensland Government releases its Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) Framework which describes the core principles and elements of a SAMP to assist government departments and statutory authorities prepare these plans. Strategic asset management planning aligns asset operational planning with high level strategic service objectives and enables effective and efficient decisions to be made in response to a dynamic operating environment.

Guidance for this SAMP Framework is taken from the SAMP Framework Guide developed by Aurecon and the Asset Institute in April 2018 and the ISO 55000 Asset Management Standard.
