Developing a Digital Competencies Framework for the Australian Energy Industry

Our Team led by Professor Rob Perrons at QUT and Professor Kerry Brown at ECU has secured funding from the Future Energy Exports CRC to help identify the competencies that Australia’s energy industry will require to effectively leverage the digital technologies that will be required to coordinate across government, industry, and community stakeholders.

The project will offer a competence framework that these constituents can use to identify skill gaps and, onward from diagnosing where gaps may be, recommend what specific steps can be taken to fill them.

Professor Kevin DeSouza, QUT, Associate Professor Hadrian Djajadikerta and Associate Professor Ferry Jie of ECU and Dave West of BatNav will be assisting Rob and Kerry in the project.
