The Asset Institute launches its South Australian Division


The Asset Institute launched its South Australian Division on 23 August 2017 at the University of South Australia (UniSA). The event was hosted by Professor David Lloyd, Vice Chancellor and President of UniSA.

Over 30 industry and academic guests attended the event in the Jeffrey Smart Building at the University’s City West Campus in Adelaide. Professors Nigel Relph, Deputy Vice Chancellor, External Relations and Strategic Projects and Professor Tanya Monro, Deputy Vice Chancellor Research and Innovation presided over the event with speakers who included Professor Relph on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Mr Stephen Saladine, Chair, Asset Institute, Adjunct Professor Joseph Mathew, CEO, Asset Institute, Professor Andy Koronios, Dean, Industry and Enterprise, and Mr Tobias Lemerande, Collins Class Submarine Fleet Maintenance & Modernisation Manager, ASC Pty Ltd and the newly appointed SA Director of the Institute.

The SA Division will use the Institute’s strong track record in brokering and managing collaborative research and development to solve asset management and sustainability challenges in South Australia’s defence, health infrastructure and public assets sectors.
